What factors affect the pricing?

Pricing is based on historical weather data for the specific location, time of year, and duration of the trip. We use this data to model risk and determine the likelihood of bad weather. From there, we calibrate the coverage threshold—for example, defining a “rainy day” as one with more than three hours of rain—in order to strike the right balance between price, coverage, and overall experience. Each WeatherPromise is tailored to reflect these factors.
